Attention Horsemen!  The NEXT edition of the Florida Senate Gaming Committee public hearings is scheduled for THIS WEDNESDAY, October 30 in Lakeland, Florida from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.!  We need as many of you there as possible!
 
Due to popular demand,a fifth public hearing has been added.  After the Lakeland hearing this week, another will be held in Tallahassee on November 4, then in Pensacola on November 14, and finally in Jacksonville on November 15.
 
 
Talking Points to Help Make Your Speech  . . . or Get It In Writing
 
Can’t get to one of the four remaining scheduled hearings?  Did you think of some things you’d like to say and didn’t get a chance last week?  We also need ALL horsemen (owners, trainers, breeders, employees, vendors) to submit written comments.  You may wish to write and/or talk about how Florida’s laws and regulations affect you in the horse racing business, where you’d like to see the future of Florida horse racing and how live racing days help your business and “sell” our product–horses!  If you need more help with talking points, call the FHBPA office at (305) 625-4591.
