March 2019 Groom of the Month

FHBPA’s Herb Oster and jockey Emisael Jaramillo present award to groom Gilmer Quinteros

The FHBPA honored Gilmer Quinteros as the Groom of the Month for March 2019. Gilmer is a native of Guatemala and has been in the barn of Peter Walder for the last six years. Peter said that Gilmer is the “Road Man” that ships with all of the Walder horses from California to Saratoga and in between. Walder noted that “Gilmer knows the horses and does a great job for us here and on the road”. Congratulations to Gilmer Quinteros on being recognized for his efforts.
