Important Message Regarding Your State of Florida Pari-Mutuel License

It has come to our attention that, on several occasions, backside workers who accompany horses for the day’s races (ship-ins) have not been in possession of their State of Florida Pari-Mutuel License. This issue has become particularly evident when trainer staff members walk horses to the State Testing Barn without their license.

Please be reminded that all personnel operating in areas under the jurisdiction of the Florida Gaming Control Commission (FGCC) must have their State of Florida Pari-Mutuel License in their physical possession at all times.

We have been given the opportunity to address this issue through education rather than immediate penalties. To avoid fines being levied against violators, we kindly ask you to ensure that everyone comply with this requirement.

Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated as we work together to maintain compliance and uphold the standards of our industry.  We will be monitoring the Receiving Barn during races for compliance.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
