At the heart of our community are the 3,200 horses that call Gulfstream Park home, and 1,000 caretakers who live on-site to provide care for these incredible equine athletes on a daily basis. During these challenging times, we have a responsibility to prioritize the safety and well-being of the horses – who require constant care and supervision to be fed, bathed, and exercised daily – and to those people who are essential to maintaining their health.
All of our caretakers are operating under stringent guidelines from health and government authorities for their protection and that of our horses. We are a unique community with a unique responsibility to take care of the horses and their caregivers who call Gulfstream Park home. While we remain closed to the public during these trying times, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Gulfstream Park community as soon as possible.
