The Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (FHBPA) represents and serves thousands of Florida Thoroughbred racehorse owners and trainers statewide.
Based in Hallandale Beach (inside Gulfstream Park), we assist our members with various business-related matters, provide social services support for their many employees and advocate for positive legislation and regulation. One of the largest Chapters in the National HBPA, we are also active on the national front in supporting our horse racing industry colleagues.
The FHBPA is seeking a full-time bilingual Office Assistant as we embark on a new chapter in our long and proud history. Candidates with horse racing industry experience are preferred.
In addition to providing concierge-style customer service for member walk-ins to our headquarters, the Office Assistant will handle day-to-day office administrative tasks, which include answering the telephone, light bookkeeping, payroll, project and special event management, and running errands outside the office.
Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and generally technology-friendly.
