Herb Oster, FHBPA Director and Chairman of the Benevolence Committee, reports that over 580 turkey dinners complete with all the trimmings, were served at backstretch dinners this past week. There were 250 diners at GP, 50 plus over at GPW, and 280 at the tables up at Palm Meadows. Herb in his remarks thanked those in attendance and acknowledged their hard work and dedication to the horses and horsemen. Their efforts often go unnoticed and unappreciated but are vital to the success of the industry.
