Come Meet the FHBPA
FHBPA President Bill White and Executive Director Glen Berman are scheduled to meet with the Ocala Horsemen on Tuesday, January 24th to discuss, among other items, the upcoming FHBPA Board of Director Elections.
Other FHBPA Board Members scheduled to be in attendance include Vice President Chester Bishop, Election Committee Chairman Daryl Clark, Backside Committee Chairman David Fawkes, and Contract Committee Chairman Stephen Screnci.
The meeting will take place at the Ocala Hilton starting at 6 pm after the OBS Championship Races. Topics on the agenda will include:
- Explanation of the upcoming FHBPA Board of Director Election.
- The main points of the recently negotiated and signed FHBPA/Gulfstream Purse contract.
- The FHBPA initiated Florida Bred/Preferred Stakes schedule.
- The upcoming Legislative Session in Tallahassee including Decoupling.
At the end of the discussion, the floor will be open for questions, comments, and suggestions.
” This will be the third time the FHBPA has traveled and met with our Central Florida Membership in the last year. We again look forward to sharing and receiving information from our Ocala-based members. The landscape in the industry is rapidly changing and now more than ever we have an obligation to keep our membership informed,” said FHBPA President, Bill White.
